James has over 20 years’ experience across investments, strategy consultancy and family business advisory. Since 2017, he has specialised in owner-backed businesses. 

Prior to working with owners, James was a Principal at The Boston Consulting Group in London, where he supported leading corporations with strategy, transformational change, and corporate development. 

He previously spent seven years with Goldman Sachs as an investment professional, focusing on fundamental equity strategies. He has held the CFA designation since 2006. 

James is a strong believer in the power of clear mandates and strong teams to create lasting value.
